What is the Friends 4 Life program?
The Friends 4 Life program is LifeEnergy’s customer referral program. If a new customer enrolls using your unique Friends 4 Life program ID, you both receive a $25 bill credit.
How does a customer qualify for the Friends 4 Life program?
All Texas LifeEnergy customers are eligible to participate in the Friends 4 Life program. However, to receive the $25 bill credit, you must meet the following criteria:
- Both customers must be active LifeEnergy customers
- Both customers must have registered their LifeEnergy account via the online portal
- Referred customer must maintain active account status and be in good standing (i.e., no past-due balance owed) for at least 90 days after start of service
- Referred customer must enroll on an eligible "Friends 4 Life" product
What happens to my bill credits if I cancel my LifeEnergy service?
If you cancel your LifeEnergy service, you won't be able to earn any more bill credits. Credit balances are not redeemable for cash and will be voided upon the service cancellation date.
How many $25 bill credits can I receive?
There is no limit to the bill credits you may earn. However, if you refer more than 24 customers in a one-year period, you will be required to fill out and submit a 1099 as required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
When will I receive my Friends 4 Life program ID?
You will receive your Friends 4 Life program ID via e-mail within 2-3 days of your accepted enrollment. It is imperative that a valid e-mail is provided at enrollment so that you receive this communication, as well as additional information pertaining to your account and other LifeEnergy correspondence.
What if I deleted or never received my Friends 4 Life program e-mail and/or unique ID?
At any time, you can request to receive your Friends 4 Life program ID by contacting LifeEnergy Customer Care via the following methods:
What happens if the person I referred doesn't include my Friends 4 Life program ID when enrolling?
A Friends 4 Life program ID must be provided at the time of the referred customer’s enrollment. No exceptions will be made. No credits will be applied to an account after the referred customer’s enrollment has been submitted and processed.
How long will it take to receive my $25 bill credit?
After the person you referred has successfully enrolled with LifeEnergy using your unique Friends 4 Life program ID and the program’s eligibility requirements are met, you and your friend will each receive the $25 bill credit between 90 and 120 days after the referred customer’s enrollment.
May I use a referral code for a renewal enrollment?
No. Referral codes may only be applied toward new customer enrollments.
What happens to my bill credits if I change my service and/or rate plan?
As long as you remain a LifeEnergy customer, you can still participate in the LifeEnergy Friends 4 Life program.
